I made Baby Yoda Caramel Apples! 🍏

After seeing so many adorable caramel apples at Disneyland last week, I was inspired to make my own. This was my first time, and boy was it trial and error! 😭

Some tips for first timers: try to thoroughly clean off the wax from your apples, let your caramel mixture cool down a bit before dipping the apples, and cool the apples for a good hour after dipping in the caramel.

RECIPE (makes 5)
- 5 Granny Smith apples
- 11 oz caramel candy (1 bag)
- 2 tbsp water
- 12 oz green candy melts (1 bag)
- 5 jumbo marshmallows
- 5 thick skewers with pointed end
- More pink, dark green, and black candy melts for face details

1. Remove wax from apples using hot water. Completely dry the apples and stick the skewers on top.
2. Melt the caramel candy and water in a pan on medium-low heat until melted.
3. Let the caramel cool a bit and start dipping the apples.
4. Let apples cool in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
5. Melt green candy melts in a medium bowl in 30 second intervals until it has a smooth consistency. Stir between intervals.
6. Cut marshmallows in half and stick them on the sides of the apples using toothpicks or melted chocolate.
7. Dip cooled apples into green candy melts. Shake off excess.
8. Let apples cool again in refrigerator while melting the other colored candy melts.
9. Pipe on Baby Yoda’s face using piping bags or toothpicks.
